I am a Chinese Canadian artist who is passionate about working towards systemic change. I am grateful to be living on the sacred lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples.

A year after sustaining a head injury, I was diagnosed with cancer and my health issues compounded. Several years passed as I was unable to return to work as a physiotherapis. I turned to the creative arts to express the nuances that accompany illness, loss and disability, as well as the hope that comes with new possibilities. I am excited to join Anew as a graphic recorder, to bring the unique voices of younger adults with cancer to a larger forum.

My true loves in this world are my two daughters and my husband, who don’t mind me spinning wool, but wish that I didn’t process and wash raw wool inside our home (I think it smells lovely).
