I am a learner and designer passionate about creating community-based experiences that aid learning, growth, and change. I've been fortunate to bring this work to my local science centre, university, and community.
I was born in Calgary near the confluence of two rivers and have lived on Treaty 7 territory ever since. Treaty 7 territory is home to the Niitsitapi (the Blackfoot Confederacy consisting of the Kainai, Piikani, Siksika First Nations, and Blackfeet of Montana), the Tsuut'ina First Nation, the Îyârhe Nakoda (consisting of the Good Stoney, Chiniki, and Bearspaw First Nations), the Otipemisiwak Métis District of Alberta Region 6, settlers like myself, and a plethora of more-than-human beings.
I enjoy connecting to the rivers and riparian areas that wind through the great plains where myself and my family have settled. As much as I love to get outdoors, I also enjoy dancing, music, movies, and food.
I am grateful to join anew research and bring my experiences with design and cancer to the team.
