My story includes a wealth of experience with BC Cancer helping family doctors and oncologists share their knowledge and work in partnership. I learned much about the cancer care system, especially at the community level and the role that education and relationships play in improving care. Using this understanding and my communications background to help reshape young adult cancer care with Anew is an honour.

I run regularly (and apparently slowly) through the streets and forests of Kwikwetlem/Coquitlam aiming to keep my energy high and my mind clear. Louis, my uncoordinated retired Labrador Retriever, used to accompany me giving my neighbors a chuckle every time he tripped me up. I’m faster now…kind of.
