I am privileged to live on these beautiful, shared lands of Kwantlen, Semiahmoo, and Tsawwassen people. I respectfully acknowledge I am a uninvited settler on these lands, I commit to ongoing decolonizing practices through naming and honouring, and more wherever I go in life.

I want to acknowledge that the area that I am able to settle in, is surrounded by the rich and abundance of nature of mountains and water. I am grateful that I am able to enjoy these lands and give honour to the Elders and Knowledge Keepers who have cared for these lands. I will continue to have the highest respect for their lands and do my part in caring for it.

I’ve been blessed to be part of many amazing lives through all my work. The journey started being a Certified Child Life Specialist in pediatric oncology that launched a deeper connection of work with the Canadian Cancer Society supporting children, young adults, and families living and affected by cancer thorough BC & Yukon for over 20 years. My deepest gratitude goes to all the beautiful lives that have welcome me and embraced to life to its fullest. I continue my commitment to our community by supporting individuals and families as the Director of Counselling with BGC South Coast BC.

My family is and will always be my number one priority in my life. If not found hiking, kayaking, and skiing, you will undoubtedly find  me sharing many special moments with both of my young sons; building tree houses, building crazy blanket forts, or making our ‘special crepe’ breakfasts.  I am also very guilty of being caught holding my beautiful wife’s hand going for walks in our neighbourhood.
