I a settler of Irish, and Scottish descent living on the unceded lands of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples. My heart is also tied to the place I grew up: the uniquely beautiful unceded land of the Syilx (Okanagan) people. Forever grateful to call it home.

I have a degree in Visual Arts and have created illustrations, objects, and experienced across media. My work in, and out, of the art world is driven by curiousity about the human experience. I have a passion to create a more equitable world by listening to, and telling the stories that too often go unheard. As a person who has experienced cancer, this drive led me to Anew. I am working on de-centering colonial, and hierarchical narratives in myself, and the world around me. I am privileged to work and learn with a team passionate about co-creating systems that work with, and for, the people they serve.

Being treated for cancer during the pandemic led me to build a relationship with my neighbourhood through meandering walks in every type of weather. I still love wandering and connecting to this beautiful place. Also curling up with a cat and a good book.
